Huang Qicai, "Distinguished Chinese sculptor turns junk into treasure."
Huang Qicai, distinguished Chinese scrap metal sculptor, was born in 1976, Shandong Province, and graduated from the School of Art, Shanxi University, in 1999. He holds an MA degree in Experiment Art, Graduate School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, 2015. Currently, he is lecturer in sculpture at the Department of Art, Taiyuan University, Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China.
His work has been shown at the Shanxi Art Exhibition, Shandong Youth Art Exhibition, Weifang Art Exhibition, Chinese Young Experimental Art Exhibition, and China Central Academy of Fine Arts Exhibition. His academic research is in multi-material and experimental media.

Chinese 12 Animals Zodiac: What is Chinese Zodiac?
The Chinese zodiac, which is also called "Earthly Branches", is one of the numerals with duodecimal system. It used to be utilized as indicates of time, the moon, directions, and many other things in the ancient China and Eastern culture. Chinese zodiac was originated from the Spring and Autumn period (春秋時代), approximately 771 to 476 BC. It is equivalent to the Western zodiac.
The twelve units are represented as twelve animal signs. They are 1) Rat, 2) Ox, 3) Tiger, 4) Rabbit, 5) Dragon, 6) Snake, 7) Horse, 8) Sheep, 9) Monkey, 10) Rooster, 11) Dog, and 12) Pig, in order which they appear in the cycle.
